Heavy-duty but on the small side

Posted by Neil on Mar 25th 2023

These assist hooks are heavy duty and the flash/tinsel looks great. The sizes are a bit off - on the small side. The 6/0 size I ordered is about the same as a 4/0 from other brands like Nomad.

Quality on a budget= Raptor assist hooks.

These hooks are legit. These Raptors are super sharp. I hooked into a 90 lb bluefin I know that's not like hooking into a 200 pounder but I will say after inspecting it everything was intact. The glow on them gets pretty bright if you put it under the lights. On first sight when I purchased them they didn't look like they would be strong. Looks can be deceiving. These ended up being my go-to's. If you're looking for high quality but still looking for great value try these Raptors.

    Great Assist Hooks

The added accessories seem to let the hook flutter a little longer which keeps it in the strike zone longer.. it also added a little flash to help attract fish.

Used these on the same jig once and definitely caught more with these than with the plain hooks
